These symptoms can have several causes, so confirm camshaft and lifter wear, VVT and timing condition, oil pressure, and gasket condition before ordering.
This engine service kit is designed for select 2009–2015 Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles equipped with a 5.7L V8 HEMI engine using both MDS and VVT/VCT. It combines front and rear MDS valve-lifter sets, a camshaft, VVT gear, timing-chain kit, oil pump, cylinder-head and valve-cover gaskets, lower-engine gaskets, and a 30-piece bolt set for coordinated valvetrain, timing, lubrication, and sealing work during the same engine teardown.
