Overview
Is your 5.7L HEMI experiencing persistent valvetrain ticking, recurring misfires, rough idle, reduced power, timing-chain noise, or oil and coolant leaks around engine sealing surfaces? These conditions can have several causes, so confirm the camshaft, lifters, timing drive, oil pressure, and gasket condition before ordering.
This engine service kit is designed for select 2009–2019 Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles equipped with a 5.7L V8 HEMI engine using both MDS and VVT/VCT. It groups the camshaft, front and rear hydraulic roller lifter assemblies, timing-chain components, cylinder-head gasket and bolt components, and lower-engine gaskets for repairs performed during the same engine teardown. The camshaft and lifters control valve movement and support MDS operation, while the timing chain keeps crankshaft and camshaft movement synchronized.
