This aftermarket 5.7L HEMI MDS/VVT Camshaft & Lifter Kit is configured to retain the factory Multi-Displacement System and VVT/VCT arrangement. The package contains one MDS/VVT-compatible steel camshaft, 16 hydraulic roller lifters, and four lifter trays or yokes for the documented valvetrain application. It is not an MDS delete kit, Non-MDS conversion kit, or complete cylinder-head repair package. The parts are aftermarket replacements and are not represented as genuine Chrysler, Dodge, or Ram vehicle components.
This configuration preserves the original MDS/VVT system type rather than converting the engine to a conventional Non-MDS arrangement. Head gaskets, cylinder-head bolts, timing components, pushrods, rocker arms, valve springs, oil pump, water pump, electronic controls, calibration work, and unlisted parts remain separate. The application record covers the listed 5.7L HEMI vehicles and requires the documented factory MDS/VVT configuration.
