3.2L/3.6L Pentastar V6 Timing Chain Kit for Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Charger & More

This Timing Chain Kit is intended for owners and engine technicians repairing the listed engine timing system on 2011-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle must also use 3.2L / 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, front engine, internal engine position, and Engine timing configuration.

Use this Timing Chain Kit when chain, guide, tensioner, sprocket, phaser, or timing-cover wear has been identified during diagnosis. Diagnosis should identify the affected component, and the repair must match 3.2L / 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, front engine, internal engine position, and Engine timing configuration. Also verify Pentastar DOHC V6 timing system and exact engine/year combination must follow the Compatibility table.

Relevant signs include startup rattle, timing noise, cam-to-crank correlation faults, or excessive timing-component wear. These symptoms can have more than one cause, so the vehicle should be inspected before treating the component as the source of the problem.

This Timing Chain Kit renews the matched timing-drive components that keep crankshaft and camshaft operation synchronized. Its configuration is specific to front engine, internal engine position and Engine timing requirements.

The package includes Primary & secondary timing chains, chain guides, chain tensioners, crankshaft sprocket, and camshaft sprockets & timing components shown on the product page. Keeping the confirmed components together supports the repair sequence described for 2011-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
