E1840P-Style Stage 2 Non-AFM LS Cam & Lifter Kit with Oil Pump, Timing Set & Gaskets

This kit is intended for owners, engine builders, and technicians working on a vehicle listed in Vehicle Fitment that uses a compatible Gen III or Gen IV GM LS-based V8, a 3-bolt cam gear, and a non-active AFM/DOD valvetrain configuration. The E1840P-style cam profile applies across listed 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, and 7.0L engine families, but every oil-pump, timing, gasket, and fastener component in the kit must also match the exact vehicle and engine.

Use this kit for a planned Stage 2 LS valvetrain build or when diagnosis supports replacing the matched camshaft and lifter components. The aftermarket E1840P-style cam uses a hydraulic-roller, 3-bolt profile with 228°/230° duration at .050 in., .585/.585 in. valve lift, and 112° lobe separation. It is not for use with an active AFM/DOD system, and this package is not a complete AFM/DOD delete kit.

Relevant signs include persistent valvetrain ticking, misfire, rough running, or wear found on matched camshaft and valve-motion components. These symptoms can have more than one cause, so the vehicle should be inspected before treating the component as the source of the problem.

This Stage 2 Camshaft & Lifter Kit replaces the matched valve-motion components so camshaft rotation can be transferred through the specified valvetrain configuration. Its configuration is specific to engine valve train, front engine timing system position.

The package includes 1 x aftermarket E1840P-style Stage 2 hydraulic roller camshaft, 16 x hydraulic roller lifters, 1 x valve spring set, 1 x oil pump, 1 x timing chain and cam gear component set, 1 x head gasket set, 1 x timing cover gasket set, and 1 x installation hardware and head bolt kit.
