This aftermarket 5.7L HEMI MDS/VVT Camshaft & Lifter Kit combines one hydraulic roller camshaft, 16 valve lifters, and four lifter trays for listed engines that retain the factory Multi-Displacement System and Variable Valve Timing configuration. The camshaft and lifter set is built around the original MDS/VVT valvetrain layout. It is not a Non-MDS camshaft package and does not convert the engine to an MDS-delete configuration.
The 5.7L HEMI MDS/VVT Camshaft & Lifter Kit supports internal valvetrain service when the matched camshaft and lifter components require replacement. The hydraulic roller camshaft controls valve motion through the 16 listed lifters, while four trays retain and guide the lifter groups. This sales configuration is limited to listed 5.7L HEMI applications that retain both factory MDS and VVT. Head gaskets, cylinder-head bolts, timing-chain parts, oil or water pumps, electronic controls, calibration work, and components outside the stated package are not included.
