This aftermarket 5.3L AFM/DOD 1-Bolt Camshaft & Lifter Kit is configured for the documented factory Active Fuel Management/Displacement on Demand valvetrain. The package contains one polished steel hydraulic-roller camshaft and 16 hydraulic roller lifters, divided into eight AFM lifters and eight standard lifters. It retains the factory cylinder-deactivation configuration and is not an AFM/DOD delete kit or conventional-lifter conversion package. This is an aftermarket replacement package.
The one-bolt camshaft is recorded with 196 degrees intake duration and 201 degrees exhaust duration at .050-inch lift, .481-inch intake and exhaust valve lift, a 116-degree lobe-separation angle, and a 1.7 rocker ratio. The documented profile is compatible with factory valve springs on the listed applications. Lifter trays, head gaskets, cylinder-head bolts, timing components, pushrods, rocker arms, valve springs, oil pump, water pump, electronic controls, calibration work, and unlisted components are not included. This product covers the stated camshaft and 16-lifter package only.
