Within Factory X-REAS Suspension, the component damps suspension movement so the tire can remain controlled through bumps, braking, and cornering. This SKU is configured around 4.0L V6 engine, 4WD drivetrain, front and rear, left and right position, and Factory X-REAS Suspension, keeping the replacement aligned with the original component's operating role instead of changing the vehicle's factory system type. The design supports a focused repair of the affected assembly while retaining the application-specific mounting, connection, and operating requirements documented for this product.
Use Front X-REAS Shock & Strut Kit after diagnosis has isolated excessive bounce, nose dive, uneven ride height, clunking, or reduced control over rough pavement. The replacement controls spring and wheel movement by replacing the matched damping assembly for the specified position and suspension system. Inspect the mounts, springs, bump stops, control-arm joints, and any electronic connectors used by the factory damping system. Complete any required ride-height calibration or alignment procedure after installation. This application uses the 4.0L V6 engine, so the engine code and factory configuration must agree with the vehicle being repaired. Follow the specified support and fastener procedures, reconnect any factory damping electronics, and complete required calibration or alignment. After assembly, verify normal system operation and correct any separate fault source found during diagnosis.
