GT3782VA VGT Turbocharger for 2003-Early 2004 Ford 6.0L Power Stroke is a 725390-series replacement turbo assembly for the listed F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks and Excursion models. It is intended for diagnosed early-style VGT turbo failures involving underboost, slow boost response, abnormal turbo noise or oil leakage.
The variable-geometry turbine uses movable vanes around the turbine wheel. The installed VGT control solenoid regulates engine-oil pressure to reposition the vane mechanism under PCM command, changing exhaust flow through the turbine without a conventional wastegate.
