Overview
This aftermarket 5.7L HEMI MDS Delete Camshaft Lifter Kit is designed for compatible 5.7L V8 HEMI applications being converted from the factory MDS valve-train configuration to a non-MDS camshaft and hydraulic roller lifter arrangement.
The package includes one non-MDS camshaft, 16 hydraulic roller lifters,four lifter guides, a head gasket set, a head bolt kit, a timing-cover gasket set, four MDS block-off plugs and related installation hardware.
This conversion package supports upper-engine service where thecamshaft, lifters, trays, cylinder-head sealing components and MDS oil passages are addressed during the same teardown. It is not a standardMDS repair kit and is not intended to retain the original MDS lifter configuration.
