This aftermarket 5.7L HEMI MDS Lifter & Guide Tray Set supplies the valve-lifter components used in listed engines that retain the factory Multi-Displacement System. The package contains 16 MDS hydraulic roller lifters and four lifter guide trays, providing a complete matched lifter-and-tray set for the stated sales configuration. It is not a Non-MDS lifter set and does not convert an MDS engine to a delete configuration.
The 5.7L HEMI MDS Lifter & Guide Tray Set is intended for valvetrain service after worn or damaged lifters have been identified. The hydraulic roller lifters follow the camshaft lobes and transfer motion through the factory MDS valvetrain, while the four trays retain and guide the lifters in their installed positions. A camshaft, head gaskets, cylinder-head bolts, timing components, oil-control repairs, electronic controls, calibration work, and other parts outside the stated package are not included.
