Set the crankshaft and camshaft at the required timing marks and inspect the sprockets, guides, tensioners, oil passages, and related seals. Rotate the engine by hand to confirm timing before startup. This application uses the 3.5L and 3.0L engines, so the engine code and factory configuration must agree with the vehicle being repaired.
