The design supports a focused repair of the affected assembly while retaining the application-specific mounting, connection, and operating requirements documented for this product.
Use Rear Shock Absorber Pair after diagnosis has isolated excessive bounce, nose dive, uneven ride height, clunking, or reduced control over rough pavement. The replacement controls spring and wheel movement by replacing the matched damping assembly for the specified position and suspension system. Inspect the mounts, springs, bump stops, control-arm joints, and any electronic connectors used by the factory damping system. Complete any required ride-height calibration or alignment procedure after installation. This application uses the 2.0L L4 Gas DOHC Turbocharged and 2.3L L4 Gas DOHC Turbocharged engines, so the engine code and factory configuration must agree with the vehicle being repaired.
