Use VVT Timing Chain Kit after diagnosis has isolated startup rattle, timing noise, cam-to-crank correlation faults, or excessive timing-component wear. Set the crankshaft and camshaft at the required timing marks and inspect the sprockets, guides, tensioners, oil passages, and related seals. Rotate the engine by hand to confirm timing before startup. This application uses the 2.4L Honda/Acura K24Z2, K24Z3 and K24Z6 engines, so the engine code and factory configuration must agree with the vehicle being repaired.
