Overview
The Front Magnetic Ride Conversion Strut Kit replaces the front electronically controlled struts on the listed GM full-size SUV applications with pre-assembled passive strut assemblies. It is intended for suspension repairs where the factory electronic or Magnetic Ride front damping system is being converted to mechanical damping rather than restored.
Each loaded assembly combines a gas-pressure strut, coil spring, upper mount, spring isolators and dust protection. The included bypass modules connect to the original electronic shock circuits. After conversion, the front struts operate mechanically and factory active damping adjustment is no longer available.
