M342 Engine Oil Pump for 2003-2008 5.7L HEMI V8 Engines

M342 Engine Oil Pump for 2003-2008 5.7L HEMI applications is a standard-volume, standard-pressure replacement pump for confirmed pre-VVT Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep engines. It is intended for engine repairs or rebuilds when the original pump is worn, damaged or no longer maintaining normal oil circulation.

Driven by the crankshaft, the internal gerotor draws oil through the pickup tube and distributes pressurized oil through the engine galleries to the bearings and valvetrain. This replacement retains the stock-style oiling configuration rather than converting the engine to a high-volume or high-pressure setup.

Features

• Standard Oil Delivery Standard-volume, standard-pressure configuration for stock-replacement engine service; this is not an M342HV high-volume pump.
• Pre-VVT System Match Designed for the early M342-style 5.7L HEMI oiling layout, not the M452/M462-style pump used on later VVT/VCT engines.
