AFM Valve Lifter Oil Manifold is designed for 2007-2014 GMC Yukon and supports engine-valley sealing service after cover, gasket, PCV, AFM/DOD, or oil-passage problems have been diagnosed. The service scope centers on the stated engine family, AFM/DOD or non-AFM configuration, PCV layout, and sealing interfaces.
During operation, the valley cover closes the lifter-valley opening and seals the related crankcase, oil, and ventilation passages. Inspection commonly follows oil leakage, cover damage, PCV faults, or a service procedure requiring access to the lifter valley. The same inspection should cover the valley sealing surface, AFM/DOD oil passages, knock-sensor area, intake seals, and PCV routing because wear or damage there can affect the replacement. Clean the valley sealing surface, install the specified seals, torque the cover evenly, and verify the PCV and oil-control passages before intake installation. Install this AFM Valve Lifter Oil Manifold only in the stated component position and configuration.
