This E1840P Cam Kit is designed for the listed 1999–2007 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC applications equipped with a compatible GM LS 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L V8, a 3-bolt cam gear and a non-AFM/DOD valvetrain configuration.
The package includes one E1840P hydraulic roller camshaft, 16 matching valve springs, 16 pushrods, 16 lifters, one gasket set, one installation bolt and one M295 oil pump for coordinated camshaft, valvetrain and lubrication-system service.
Product Features
- The hydraulic roller camshaft uses a .585-inch intake and exhaust valve-lift profile, 228°/230° duration at .050-inch lift, a 112° lobe separation angle and a 108° intake centerline.
- Designed for listed GM LS applications using a 3-bolt cam gear and without factory Active Fuel Management or Displacement on Demand operation.
- Includes 16 matching valve springs, 16 pushrods and 16 lifters for coordinated camshaft and valvetrain service during the same engine teardown.
- Includes one M295 oil pump for compatible GM LS Gen III lubrication-system applications. Confirm the pump brand, pickup-tube configuration and exact engine application before installation.
