Product Overview

ThisE-1840-P Sloppy Stage 2 Camshaft Kit is designed for compatible GM Gen III and Gen IV LS V8 performance builds using a 3-bolt camshaft configuration.

The kit includes one E1840P-profile hydraulic roller camshaft, 16 matching beehive valve springs and 16 valve stem seals. The camshaft features 228° intake and 230° exhaust duration at .050-inch lift, .585-inch intake and exhaust valve lift, a 112-degree lobe separation angle and a 108-degree intake centerline.

  • LS9-Style Hydraulic Roller Camshaft — Includes one hydraulic roller camshaft based on the LS9-style 3-bolt camshaft configuration for compatible Gen III and Gen IV LS/LQ engine builds.
  • 3-Bolt Camshaft Configuration — Designed for engines using a compatible 3-bolt cam sprocket arrangement.
  • Beehive Valve Spring Set — Includes 16 beehive valve springs for valve-train service completed with the camshaft installation.
  • Valve Stem Seals Included — Includes 16 valve stem seals for related cylinder-head reassembly work.
  • Camshaft and Spring Service Scope — Groups the camshaft, valve springs, and seals for builds where camshaft replacement and valve-spring service are handled during the same teardown.
  • Gen III / Gen IV LS Platform Use — Intended for compatible 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L GM LS/LQ engine applications with the required installation configuration.
  • Cylinder-Head Setup Compatibility — Suitable for compatible cathedral-port or rectangular-port LS cylinder-head combinations after valve-spring installed height, retainer clearance, coil-bind clearance, and piston-to-valve clearance are verified.
