This aftermarket 5.3L AFM Camshaft Lifter Kit is designed for listed GM 5.3L V8 applications retaining the factory Active Fuel Management and Displacement on Demand valve-train configuration.
The package includes one AFM/DOD-compatible single-bolt hydraulic roller camshaft, 16 hydraulic roller lifters in the required AFM/DOD and standard configurations, four lifter trays, MLS head gasket components, a cylinder-head bolt set, timing-cover gaskets, a valley-cover gasket and related upper-engine seals and installation hardware.
This replacement package is intended for upper-engine repairs wherethe camshaft, lifters, trays, cylinder-head sealing components and front-cover gaskets are serviced during the same teardown. It is not an AFM/DOD delete or non-AFM conversion kit.
