Compatibility Help - SUSUCAR Auto Parts
Compatibility Help from SUSUCAR Auto Parts helps vehicle owners, technicians and repair shops confirm whether an aftermarket replacement part matches a specific vehicle and repair application. Because vehicles from the same year and model can use different engines, suspension systems, drivetrains, connectors or mounting configurations, checking only the year, make and model may not be enough.
Our Compatibility Help service is intended to reduce ordering mistakes involving parts that look similar but have different specifications. This is especially important when selecting electronic shock absorbers, loaded strut assemblies, control arms, timing chain kits, camshaft kits, oil pumps, turbochargers and other application-specific replacement parts.
Who This Service Helps
- Vehicle owners replacing a worn or failed component
- DIY customers who are unsure which configuration their vehicle uses
- Repair shops sourcing parts for a customer’s vehicle
- Engine builders checking engine codes, displacement or valvetrain systems
- Customers comparing electrical connectors, mounting positions or included components
Information to Provide
For faster and more accurate assistance, provide as much of the following information as possible:
- Vehicle year, make and model
- Engine size or engine code
- Trim level and drivetrain, such as FWD, RWD, AWD or 4WD
- Front or rear installation position
- Left, right or both sides
- Factory suspension system or RPO/PR code
- Original part number when available
- Clear photos of the original part, connector and mounting points
- VIN when additional vehicle configuration details are needed
What We Check
Our Compatibility Help process compares the information you provide with the confirmed fitment, specifications, installation position, system requirements and product configuration shown on the SUSUCAR product page. For example, we may check whether an electronic shock is intended for Magnetic Ride Control, whether a strut is supplied as a loaded assembly, or whether an oil pump matches a pre-VVT or later VVT engine layout.
We can also help identify differences between parts sold for similar vehicles, such as standard versus electronic suspension, MDS versus non-MDS valvetrain configurations, different engine displacements or position-specific left and right components.
Before Ordering
SUSUCAR products are aftermarket replacement parts and are not represented as genuine original-equipment parts. Vehicle modifications, engine swaps, suspension conversions and previously replaced components can affect compatibility. Compatibility Help supports product selection, but the vehicle should still be inspected by a qualified technician when the original configuration or cause of failure is uncertain.
Providing complete vehicle and part information allows our team to give a more useful compatibility response and helps reduce incorrect orders, installation delays and unnecessary returns.
